Rork Media COVID-19 Statement

The COVID-19 pandemic is causing chaos throughout the travel and tourism industry and as a result, is proving challenging for many businesses to continue day-to-day operations during the lockdown. We’ve been working over the last few weeks to try and keep the magazines going, however with issues in the supply chain making delivery logistically impossible and our key distribution points – namely dive centres and suppliers – being forcibly closed, we’ve had to make the tough decision to halt publication of the magazine until the subsequent lockdowns and regulations are relaxed.

The latest magazine, which was due out around 11-12 April, will now be distributed in May when hopefully we will be experiencing more-relaxed rules about essential travel and social distancing. Issue 22 of Scuba Diver Australia and New Zealand is in stores now, and we expect the next issue to now be out 1 June. Scuba Diver Destinations, currently scheduled for 1 June, will be delayed to 1 July. If you have subscribed to a magazine than you’ll still receive your full allocation of paid-for copies, these will just be slightly delayed. Digital copies are available below of each edition.

I would just like to say, the team are still very much here and we’ll definitely be back with our magazines as soon as we can. Where we have full/part-time employed staff we are focused on making sure they are paid no matter what country they reside in. You can still find regular content on www.scubadivermag.com, www.scubadivermag.com and www.scubadivermag.com. We’ll be publishing news, features, videos and more so make sure while you are in this captive hell, you keep expanding your mind!

From all the team at Scuba Diver – stay home, stay safe, and we look forward to seeing you at a dive site in the very near future!
